- girls swimwear w/skirt
- I'm hoping that someone can give me tips on making togs with a skirt for my girl. Have never made them before but am finding it harder & harder to buy togs w/skirt for my girl. She has always had big thighs & she hates showing them! So I need to make togs for her myself since these are hard to find in a sz 8-10. any advice from anyone who has made them much appreciated. would love any links you have also:)
thx
- Patterns
- How do you chose the right size pattern for you.
For tops. you go by your bust measurement. It is easer to take the sides in than to try and add bust to a top. You do not go by your clothing size.
And for pants you use your hip measurement.Once again it is easier to taper up to the waist than add size and shape to the pants.
Next , you check the easement of the pattern. If you don't want it as full as the pattern suggest the go down a size.
One thing to watch is the shoulders on a top. For some reason they think the bigger the bust, the wider the shoulders.
- Knitted Muff Pattern
- I am after the pattern for a knitted muff. A knitting group had it
amongst their show and tell display at the last Spotlight knitting party
at the Geelong store. They make them for the elderly at nursing homes.
Anyone able to help? I think it was knitted in 8 ply yarn and lined with fabric.
