- Materials
- • Ribtex 12mm glass pearls - white
• 2 x Ribtex 8mm round diamante rondelle balls - bright silver
• Ribtex memory velvet hollow cord - black
• Ribtex memory neck wire
• Ribtex memory bracelet wire
• round nose pliers
• cutting pliers
• ruler or tape measure
• scissors
• bead board - Step 1
- Cut a length of bracelet memory wire that will give you 4 or 5 rings. Cut approximately 10 pieces of velvet cord in varying lengths, the shortest length should be around 5cm, the longest length around 8cm. This will allow the placement of the pearls to be randomly spaced.
- Step 2
- Using pliers turn one end of the memory wire into a small loop to stop the velvet cord sliding off the end. Carefully feed one piece of velvet cord onto the bracelet ring all the way to the end where you have made the loop.
- Step 3
- Thread on one pearl. Feed another length of velvet cord onto the ring. Continue alternating pearls and cord until you have used approximately half of the pieces of velvet cord.
- Step 4
- Thread on one round diamante rondelle instead of a pearl then continue by adding the remaining velvet cord and pearls.
- Step 5
- Leave enough wire to make a loop and trim off any excess wire. Finish off by using the pliers to turn the end of the wire into a loop.
