Red & White ribbon decorated boxes.

Final Result

Materials

• Medium & small square papier mache box
• Co-ordinating red & white decorative grosgrain ribbons in varying widths
• White cotton tape
• Double-sided tape or craft glue/hot glue gun
• Scissors

Step 1

Medium box

Attach white cotton tape around the sides of the box along the bottom edge.

Step 2

Align the top edge of a decorative grosgrain ribbon with the top edge of the cotton tape and stick it over the top of tape.

Step 3

Stick decorative grosgrain ribbon around the rim of the lid.

Step 4

Small box

Stick a wide decorative grosgrain ribbon around the sides of the base of the box.

Step 5

Attach a length of cotton tape around the top of the lid, securing the ends under the lid.

Step 6

Tie a small length of decorative grosgrain ribbon in a knot and trim ends to 5cm.

Step 7

Tie another length over the first knot and trim ends to 5cm.

Repeat until desired size and shape of bow is achieved.
