Red & White ribbon decorated papier mache boxes.

Final Result

Materials

• Medium round papier mache box
• 38mm wide red grosgrain ribbons
• 40mm wide white large rickrack
• 25cm red polyester cord
• Assorted decorative red & white grosgrain ribbon & trim
• Double-sided tape or craft glue/hot glue gun
• Scissors

Step 1

Stick 38mm red grosgrain ribbon around the side of box 5mm up from the bottom edge.

Step 2

Attach large rickrack over the centre of the red ribbon.

Step 3

Make a small hole in the top of the lid in the centre.

Step 4

Make a loop with cord and thread through hole in lid and secure by tying ends of cord in a knot underneath lid.

Step 5

Tie bows with decorative ribbon around the base of the cord on top of the lid as desired.
