Materials

Red & white buttons - small to medium
24 gauge beading wire - silver/gold
60cm x 15mm red/white ribbon
Scissors
Round nose pliers
Wire cutting pliers

Step 1

Cut a 40cm length of wire and using round nose pliers make a small loop in one end.

Step 2

Thread the buttons onto the wire until you have enough for the size of wreath desired (approx 7.5cm diameter).

Note: It gives a nice shape if the smaller buttons are used at each end this way they are at the top of the wreath when the wire is joined.

Step 3

To form the wreath, wrap the open end of the wire around the looped end.

Form the excess into a loop and wrap the end around the join to secure.
Cut off any excess wire.

Step 4

Knot the ribbon into a bow at the base of the loop.
