'Our house' Album

• Kaisercraft Country Grove scrapbook papers - meadow, harvest, floral field, daisy chain
• PVA glue
• paint brush

• assorted rub ons - words with family theme

• 5 x metal rings - brown
• craft glue
• fine sandpaper
• pencil
• craft knife, ruler & cutting mat

Step 1

For all pages
Lightly sand the edges of each page of journal. Paint outer edges and 1cm in from each edge on the front and back of each page with soft moss paint. Let dry.

Step 2

For all fronts
Cut paper to fit page. Mix water with PVA, brush onto back of paper and glue paper to album page, smoothing out any bubbles. Cover the roof, with striped paper (reverse side of harvest). Allow to dry.

Step 3

For all backs
Cut paper to fit page. Mix water with PVA, brush onto back of paper and glue paper to album page, smoothing out any bubbles). Allow to dry. Remember that these papers are double-sided so the choices are double.

Step 4

Page 1
Front - Cover with daisy chain paper. Embellish with rub on words and floral patterns. Cut a small slit through middle of flowers and insert small brad. Glue back of brad to page. Further embellish page with small black stick on rhinestones.

Back - Cover with reverse side of daisy chain paper. Embellish with a family phrase sticker.

Step 5

Page 2
Front - Cover with the reverse of floral field paper. Cut two large floral patterns from the meadow paper and stick to them to the page, trim to edge of page. Cut 2 x 5cm squares of the reverse of harvest paper and 2 x 4.5cm square photos, matt together and attach to page aligned with the 'windows’ in page 1. Embellish page with rub ons, sticker phrases, flowers with a brad through the centre and stick on rhinestones.

Back - Cover with the reverse side of daisy chain paper. Embellish with a family phrase sticker and a decorative rub on. Finish page with stick on rhinestones and flowers with brads.

Step 6

Page 3
Front - Cover with the reverse of floral field paper. Cut 2 x 4.5cm square photos. Adhere one in line with the ‘window’ in page 2. Matt the other to a 5cm square of the reverse side of harvest paper and adhere to page below and in line with first photo. Embellish page with decorative rub on and words. Complete page with stick on rhinestones and flowers with brads.

Back - Cover page with harvest paper, aligning the bottom right corner of paper with bottom right corner of page. Add a family phrase sticker and embellish with stick on rhinestones.

Step 7

Page 4
Front - Cover with the reverse of floral field paper. Cut two large floral patterns from the meadow paper and stick to them to the right-hand side of page overlapping the edge. Trim paper to edge of page. Cut an 11cm x 14cm piece of reverse of harvest paper and a photo 10cm x 13cm, matt together and attach to page. Finish with rub on words, phrases and stick on rhinestones.

Back - Cover with harvest paper, aligning the bottom right corner of paper with bottom right corner of page. Write the album’s details with black gel pen and embellish with stick on rhinestones.

Step 8

To assemble
Using a very sharp pencil, gently punch through the paper on each page in line with the holes in the wooden pages. Thread metal rings through holes to join pages together. Knot co-ordinating ribbons around the metal rings and trim ends.
