Materials
Fabric Requirements

Fabric A: 1-1/8 yards of DT-8668-18
Cut thirteen 2-1/2" x 42" strips. Sub-cut the strips into (200) 2-1/2" squares.

Fabric B: 2-1/3 yards of DT-8516-31
Cut nineteen 2-1/2" x 42" strips. Sub-cut the strips into (300) 2-1/2" squares.

Cut eight 1-1/2" x 42" strips. Piece the strips together to make two 1-1/2" x 62-1/2" strips and two 1-1/2" x 60-1/2" strips for the inner border.

Cut seven 2-1/2" x 42" strips for the binding.

Fabric C: 1-1/8 yards of DT-0210-5
Cut thirteen 2-1/2" x 42" strips. Sub-cut the strips into (196) 2-1/2" squares.

Fabric D: 1-3/4 yards of DT-0208-3
Cut twelve 4-1/2" x 42" strips. Sub-cut the strips into (100) 4-1/2" squares.

Fabric E: 2-2/3 yards of DT-0209-4
Cut four 2-1/2" strips. Sub-cut the strips into fifty-two 2-1/2" squares.

Cut nine 4-1/2" x 42" strips. Sub-cut the strips into seventy-three 4-1/2" squares.

Cut eight 4-1/2" x 42" strips. Piece the strips into two 4-1/2" x 70-1/2" strips and two
4-1/2" x 62-1/2" strips for the outer border.

Fabric F: 1 yard of DT-0209-2
Cut six 4-1/2" x 42" strips. Sub-cut the strips into fifty-two 4-1/2" squares.

Backing: 4-1/2 yards of your choice
Cut two 78" x 42" strips. Piece the strips together into one 78" square.
Step 1
To make the Block One Center Block, place one 2-1/2" Fabric B square on the top left corner of one 4-1/2" Fabric E square, right sides together (fig. 1). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (fig. 1). Flip open the triangle formed and press (fig. 2). Trim away the excess fabric 1/4" from behind the triangle 1/4" away from the sewn seam.
Step 2
Follow Figure 3 for the seam direction to add a 2-1/2" Fabric B square to each of the remaining corners of the 4-1/2" Fabric E square to make one Block One Center Block (fig. 4). Repeat to make thirteen Block One Center Blocks and twelve Block Two Center Blocks.
Step 3
Follow Figure 5 and use the flip and sew technique to add one 2-1/2" Fabric E square to the upper left corner of one 4-1/2" Fabric F square and one 2-1/2" Fabric C square to the lower right corner of the 4 1/2" Fabric F square to make one Block One Corner Square (fig. 6). Repeat to make fifty-two Block One Corner squares.
Step 4
Follow Figure 7 and use the flip and sew technique to add one 2-1/2" Fabric B square to the upper left corner and upper right corner of one 4-1/2" Fabric D square and one 2-1/2" Fabric A square to the lower right corner and lower left corner of the 4-1/2" Fabric D square to make one Block One Side Square (fig. 8). Repeat to make fifty-two Block One Side squares and forty-eight Block Two Side squares.
Step 5
) Follow Figure 9 and use the flip and sew technique to add one 2-1/2" Fabric C square to the upper right corner, lower left and lower right corners of one 4-1/2" Fabric E square to make one Block Two Corner Square (fig. 10). Repeat to make forty-eight Block Two Corner squares.
Step 6
Follow the Block One Layout to sew together one Block One Center square, four Block One Corner squares and four Block One Side squares to make one 12-1/2" Block One square. Repeat to make thirteen Block One squares.
Step 7
Follow the Block Two Layout to sew together one Block Two Center square, four Block Two Corner squares and four Block Two Side squares to make one 12-1/2" Block Two square. Repeat to make twelve Block Two squares.
Step 8
Sew together three Block One squares and two Block Two squares, alternating them to make the first row. Repeat to make the third and fifth row.
Step 9
Sew together three Block Two squares and two Block One squares, alternating them to make the second row. Repeat to make the forth row.
Step 10
Sew the rows together to make the 60-1/2" square quilt top.
Step 11
Sew one 1-1/2" x 60-1/2" Fabric B strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew one 1-1/2" x 62-1/2" Fabric B strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top.
Step 12
Sew one 4-1/2" x 62-1/2" Fabric E strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew one 4-1/2" x 70-1/2" Fabric E strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top.
Step 13
Layer, quilt and bind as desired.
Note
The technique described in Step 1 and 2 is called Flip-N-Sew which is used throughout the pattern.
