Making a mini book - wired

- Materials
- • paper for pages
• cardstock for cover
• contrast card for spine
• scissors/paper trimmer
• small hole punch/awl
• 40cm beading wire
• small beads - Step 1
- Cut 6 paper pages 9cm x 8cm then from cardstock a back and a front cover 9cm x 8cm. Cut a strip for the spine 5cm x 8cm and fold in half (2.5cm x 8cm). Stack pages, place back cover underneath and front cover on top then wrap spine around left edge. Mark and punch holes on the spine 0.5cm in from the fold and 2.5cm from top and bottom edges. Thread ends of wire from front to back, then through opposite hole back to the front. Thread on beads and twist ends to secure.

- Change the dimensions of the pages & covers to make these books in any size. Add more pages if desired.

- Children can embellish the covers and pages with stickers or hand drawn pictures then write little stories inside.
