Kids Christmas Table - Felt Cutlery Pockets

Kids can keep these pockets as a take home gift.
Final Result
Materials
For one pocket -
Red wool felt square
1 x white button
Stick-on white felt letter (initial for child's name)
Red perle thread
Gutermann red sewing thread
Hand needle
Sewing machine
Ruler/tape measure
Scissors
Step 1
Cut the felt square in half across the width of square (this will give you two pockets).

Fold each piece in half again, aligning the long sides.
Step 2
Sew the bottom short edges and the long side edges together 5mm in from the edge, leaving the top edges open.
Step 3
Sew a white button with red perle to the front of the pocket 3cm down from the top edge and tie off the thread at the front of button.

Trim ends of thread to 1cm in length.

Stick a felt letter to front of pocket 5cm up from the bottom sewn edge.
