A folio is simply a sheet of paper folded in half to form pages in a book 4 sides, front and back.

- Signature
A signature is a group of folios nested together, a book can contain one or more signatures stitched together.

- Text Block
The text block is the signatures stitched together. - Step 4
- Cover
The outer cover of the book to contain the signatures. 
- Step 5
- Spine
The spine joins the front and back covers and is usually the width of the text block.
