- Your preference.
- Step 1
- Fold and press 1cm in from the edge to the wrong side.
- Step 2
- Fold and press a further 1cm, trapping the raw edge inside the fold.
- Step 3
- Using a matching thread stitch on the sewing machine as close to the inside fold as possible.
- Step 4
- Alternatively blind hem stitch by hand along the inside fold.
