3 (4-5) x 50g balls Main Colour (MC)
1 (2-2) x 50g ball/s Contrast Colour (CC)
3 Colour Stripe option

5 (6-7) x 50g balls Main Colour (MC)
2 (2-3) x 50g balls 1st Contrast (C1) 2 (2-3) x 50g balls 2nd Contrast (C2)
A pair 4.00mm (US 6), (UK 8) Knitting Needles, or size that gives correct tension/gauge.
A yarn needle. - Step 1
- CREATE - 2 Colour Stripe option
Hat (knitted sideways) Using 4.00mm (US 6), (UK 8) Needles and MC, cast on 35 (39-43) sts.
Knit in garter st (1st row is RS) until work measures 20 (21-22) cms/8 (8 1/2-9) ins from beg, working last row on WS. break off MC.
Using CC, cont in garter st for a further 7 cms/3 ins, working last row on WS. break off CC.
Using MC, cont in garter st for a further 20 (21- 22) cms/8 (8 1/2-9) ins from beg, working last row on WS. Using MC, cast/bind off loosely knitways. - Step 2
- Scarf
Using 4.00mm (US 6), (UK 8) Needles and CC, cast on 19 (29-39) sts. **
Using CC, knit in garter st (1st row is WS) until work measures 7 cms/3 ins from beg, working last row on WS. break off CC.
Using MC, cont in garter st for a further 14 cms/ 5 1/2 ins, working last row on WS. break off MC.
** Rep from ** to ** until work measures 112 (133- 154) cms/45 (53-61 1/2) ins from beg, ending with 7 cms/3 ins of CC.
Using CC, cast/bind off loosely knitways. - Step 3
- Finishing
DO NOT PRESS
Using yarn needle, darn in ends. Hat - Using yarn needle and running st seam, join cast on and cast/bound off edges together to form back seam. place each corner at top of hat to centre and join each seam to form top of hat (4 seams). - Step 4
- CREATE
3 Colour Stripe option Hat (knitted sideways)
Using 4.00mm (US 6), (UK 8) Needles and MC, cast on 35 (39-43) sts.
Knit in garter st (1st row is RS) until work measures 19 (20-21) cms/71 1/2 (8-81 1/2) ins from beg, working last row on WS.
Note - do not break off yarn after completing each stripe, instead carry yarn/s not in use loosely up side of work until required again. Using C1, knit 6 rows garter st.
Using MC, knit 4 rows garter st. Using C2, knit 16 rows garte st.
Using MC, knit 4 rows garter st.
Using C1, knit 6 rows garter st. break off C1 and C2.
Using MC for rem, knit in garter st for a further 19 (20-21) cms/7 1/2 (8-8 1/2) ins from beg, working last row on WS.
Using MC, cast/bind off loosely knitways. - Step 5
- Scarf Using 4.00mm (US 6), (UK 8) Needles and C1, cast on 19 (29-39) sts.
1st row (WS) - Knit.
Note - Cut yarn off after completing each stripe and re-join new colour, otherwise you will have large strands of yarn at side edges.
** Using C1, knit 6 rows garter st. Using MC, knit 4 rows garter st.
Using C2, knit 16 rows garte st. Using MC, knit 4 rows garter st.
Using C1, knit 6 rows garter st. Using MC, knit in garter st for 9 cms/31 1/2 ins, working last row on WS.
** Rep from ** to ** 5 (6-7) more times = 6 (7-8) times in total.
Using C1, knit 6 rows garter st.
Using MC, knit 4 rows garter st.
Using C2, knit 16 rows garte st.
Using MC, knit 4 rows garter st. Using C1, knit 6 rows garter st.
Using C1, cast/bind off loosely knitways. - Step 6
