Gold wrap bonbon

- The word ‘bonbon’ stems from the French where ‘bon’ means good. While we might think of Christmas treats as bonbons, in the USA the term also refers to small blocks of icecream or cream cheese covered in chocolate.

- Materials
- • 1 pkt bonbon rolls
• 1 pkt bonbon snaps
• double-sided tape
• paper trimmer
• scissors
• novelties &/sweets to go inside bonbon
• gold gift wrap paper
• gold star
• cream & gold ribbon
• decorative edge scissors - Step 1
- Cut a piece of gold paper 30cm x 16cm. Cut across both short ends with the decorative scissors. Stick an 8cm piece of double-sided tape in the centre along the edge of one 30cm side. Remove the paper backing and press a filled bonbon roll onto the tape. Wrap firmly making sure the snap and bag of goodies stay inside the roll and secure with double-sided tape where edges overlap. Gather ends, tie with cream and gold ribbon and add a gold star.

- If you fill bonbons with treats applicable to the recipient, write the names on a tag and add when tying the ends.

- It is a good idea to place the sweets & novelties into a small cellophane bag before placing them inside the bonbon roll.
