Here’s a simple project that will add a touch of pizzazz to your next dinner party or barbeque. Alternately, these beaded salad servers make a great gift.

Materials

• 22 gauge Designer wire - silver
• 3.6mm black glass seed beads
• 3.6mm white glass seed beads
• 10mm x 15mm black glass rectangle faceted beads
• cutting pliers
• silver salad servers

Step 1

Unwind approximately 70cm of wire from the spool and thread approximately 50cm of beads onto the wire (alternating black and white seed beads).

Step 2

Begin by winding the wire around the narrowest section of the handle, leaving a 5cm ‘tail’ at the back. Wind the beaded wire around the handle positioning the beads at the front with only the wire at the back. Continue winding the wire and beads around the handle, catching the ‘tail’ on the back of the handle.

Step 3

Wind the beads around the handle as far as you wish to decorate. Cut excess wire, leaving 10cm to finish off. Add the faceted feature bead and secure the end by winding around last few wires at the back of the spoon.

Handy Hint

Wash your servers by hand with warm soapy water. Do not wash in the dishwasher.
