Create a book that any "Christmasophile" would just LOVE to own.

• Kaisercraft Christmas tabbed album
• Kaisercraft ‘Pear Tree’ scrapbook papers - Turtle Dove, Nightingale
• Kaisercraft ‘Cheer’ scrapbook papers -Season’s Greetings, Good Tidings
• weave cardstock - leaf green, dark green, red
• Kaisercraft rub ons - Trim the tree, Christmas cards, Season’s greetings, Heritage Kaisercraft lime album rings
• Kaisercraft acrylic paint - pistachio
• American Crafts Thickers Foam letters - ‘ Daquiri’ in white & lime
• lined pages torn from a small spiral bound notebook
• assorted co-ordinating ribbons
• stapler
• paint brushes
• PVA paint
• double-sided tape
• Fiskars fingertip control craft knife or craft knife
• cutting mat & ruler
• pencil
• scissors
• sandpaper
• paper trimmer
Step 1
Lightly sand edges of each page of journal.
Paint outer edges of each page of album pistachio and let dry.

Page 1
Front
Paint front of page with PVA glue and cover with the front of the Turtle Dove paper, smoothing on gently.
Allow glue to dry before trimming excess paper away from edges of page with a craft knife.

Carefully cut out tree shaped hole in tab of page. Using either a dry brush or your fingertip, rub a small amount of pistachio paint over the cut paper edges of page and tree hole in tab to give a lime wash look.

Stick foam letters onto page for title ‘Christmas Planner 2009’ or desired saying.

Back
Paint back of page with PVA glue and cover with the front of the Nightingale paper. Allow glue to dry before trimming excess paper away from edges of page with a craft knife.

Cut a strip 3cm wide by 18cm high from the word side of Season’s Greetings paper.

Paint the back of the strip with PVA glue and gently smooth onto the right-hand edge of page. Allow to dry then trim off any paper overlapping the edges.

Using either a dry brush or your fingertip, rub a small amount of pistachio paint over the cut paper edges of page for a lime wash look.

Apply a rub on to a torn out notebook paper and stick paper to the centre of the page.

Cut a strip 3cm wide by 18cm high from the word side of Season’s Greetings paper.

Paint the back of the strip with PVA glue and gently smooth onto the left-hand edge of page.

Cut a 4.5cm square from the Season’s Greetings paper and stick over star cutout tab. Allow to dry and trim any paper overlapping the outer edges and edges of the star cut out.

Using either a dry brush or your fingertip, rub a small amount of pistachio paint over the cut paper edges for a lime wash look.

Apply a rub on to a torn out notebook paper and stick paper to the centre of the page.

Cut a 2cm x 4cm piece of Season’s Greetings paper. Stick foam letters to the top right-hand side of page with the small piece of paper to be stuck under the first letter (cards).

Cut a 3cm x 18cm strip from the striped side of the Good Tidings paper.

Paint the back of the strip with PVA glue and gently smooth onto the right-hand edge of page. Allow to dry and trim any overlapping paper away from the outer edges and edges of the star cut out.

Using either a dry brush or your fingertip, rub a small amount of pistachio paint over the cut paper edges of page for a lime wash look.

Apply a rub on to a torn out notebook paper and stick paper to the centre of the page.

Paint the back of the strip with PVA glue and gently smooth onto the left-hand edge of page. Cut a 4.5cm square also from the Good Tidings paper and stick over tree tab cut out. Allow to dry and trim any overlapping paper from the outer edges and edges of the tree cut out.

Using either a dry brush or your fingertip, rub a small amount of pistachio paint over the cut paper edges of page for a lime wash look.

Apply a rub on to a torn out notebook paper and stick paper to the centre of the page.

Cut a 2cm x 4cm piece of Good Tidings paper. Stick foam letters onto the top right-hand side of page with the small piece of paper to be stuck under the first letter of the word.

Ensure that the word is high enough that it cannot be seen through the star cut out on the tab of the previous page.

Paint back of page with PVA glue and cover with the dark green cardstock. Allow glue to dry before trimming excess paper away from edges of page with a craft knife.

Cut a strip 3cm wide by 18cm high from the front of the Turtle Dove paper. Paint the back of the strip with PVA glue and gently smooth onto the right-hand edge of page. Allow to dry and trim any overlapping paper away from the outer edges and edges from the tree cut out.

Using either a dry brush or your fingertip, rub a small amount of pistachio paint over the cut paper edges of page for a lime wash look.

Apply a rub on to a torn out notebook paper and stick paper to the centre of the page.

Paint front of page with PVA glue and cover with dark green cardstock. Allow glue to dry before trimming excess paper away from edges of page with a craft knife.

Cut a strip 3cm wide by 18cm high from the front of the Turtle Dove paper. Paint the back of the strip with PVA glue and gently smooth onto the left-hand edge of page.

Cut a 4.5cm square from the Turtle Dove paper and stick to the right bottom edge of tab over star cut out. Allow to dry and trim any overlapping paper away from the outer edges and edges from the star cut out.

Using either a dry brush or your fingertip, rub a small amount of pistachio paint over the cut paper edges of page for a lime wash look.

Apply a rub on to a torn out notebook paper and stick paper to the centre of the page.

Cut a 2cm x 4cm piece of Turtle Dove paper. Stick foam letters onto top right-hand side of page with the small piece of paper to be stuck under the first letter of the foam letter word.

Back
Paint back of page with PVA glue and cover with the word side of Season’s Greetings paper. Allow glue to dry before trimming excess paper away from edges of page with a craft knife.

Cut a strip 3cm wide by 18cm high from the striped side of the Good Tidings paper.

Paint the back of the paper strip with PVA glue and gently smooth onto the right-hand side edge of page. Allow to dry then trim off any paper overlapping the edges.

Using either a dry brush or your fingertip, rub a small amount of pistachio paint over the cut paper edges of page for a lime wash look. Staple desired number of torn out notebook paper together.

Apply a rub on motif to the front paper and stick papers to the centre of the page.

Paint back of page with PVA glue and cover with red cardstock. Allow glue to dry before trimming excess paper away from edges of page with a craft knife.

Cut a 3cm wide by 18cm high strip from the striped side of the Good Tidings paper.

Paint the back of the strip with PVA glue and gently smooth onto the right-hand edge of page. Allow to dry and trim any overlapping paper away from the outer edges.

Using either a dry brush or your fingertip, rub a small amount of pistachio paint over the cut paper edges of page for a lime wash look.
Step 6
Assemble

Punch out the paper from the holes along the side of each page and thread an album ring through each set of holes to join album together.

Knot co-ordinating ribbons around ring and trim ends.
