From pattern supplied below cut 2 x holder shapes from Christmas stripe fabric (stripes widthways) and 2 x holder shapes from green homespun. Cut 2 x holder shapes from iron on pellon or cotton batting. Centre the pellon (cotton batting) on the wrong side of the 2 x Christmas stripe shapes leaving a 1cm gap around all edges. Fuse in place. Pin the wrong side of the green homespun on top of the pellon (cotton batting). Sew all layers together, 5mm in from all raw edges. If desired, quilt through all layers following the lines in the striped fabric. Bind the top raw edges together with bias binding. With the striped fabric together, sew two sides together with a 1cm seam allowance, leaving top edges open. Clip corners and seams and turn right side out, press seams.
