Christmas Canvases

Make this free-standing decoration for a shelf or any Christmas display.

Final Result

Materials

1 x 9pk 10cm canvases
Paint - red, green, & colours of choice
Paint brush & palette
Alphabet stencil kit
Gold glitter dimensional paint
Pencil

Step 1

Place one letter stencil onto each canvas to spell out the word Christmas.

Without moving the stencil, stipple with red paint. Outline the letters in gold glitter dimensional paint.

Leave the paint to dry.

Step 2

Draw one item that starts with the same letter of the alphabet as on each canvas, e.g. C - Christmas cake, H - holly, R - robin, I - ivy, S - Santa, T - tree, M - mince tart, A - angel, S - star.

Paint each drawing and leave to dry.

Step 3

Paint the edges of the canvas in green.

Leave the paint to dry thoroughly.

Finish with a coat of varnish to protect your work.
