- Materials
- • Red glitter chipboard alphabet letters
• Christmas Candy Cane paper pack
• Vintage white Christmas chipboard sheet
• Buttons and bling
• Chipboard shape - arrow
• Craft knife
• Green weave cardstock
• Your 5x7” photo - landscape
• Red ink
• Wet and dry adhesive
• Journaling pen - Step 1
- Mat your photo onto a piece of Candy Cane patterned paper.
- Step 2
- Cut a 17.5cm x 10cm square from the dots Candy Cane patterned paper.
Cut the middle out with a craft knife so you have a 1cm border all the way around and it looks like a frame. - Step 3
- Layer your photo and frame piece of paper together as shown and adhere to the middle of your green cardstock.
- Step 4
- Attach the white chipboard frame from your vintage white chipboard sheet to your green cardstock.
- Step 5
- Put the word Christmas on top of the paper frame you cut out earlier.
- Step 6
- Cut out a white cardstock oval to fit the next word of your title we have used the word DAY but you may have another title to suit your photo - eg. Food, Presents, Fun.
Adhere your chipboard word to the white cardstock oval and place in the top right hand corner of your photo. - Step 7
- Punch out and adhere your white Christmas stars in each corner of your layout.
- Step 8
- Type up the journaling that tells the story of your photo (or you can write this out).
Print out and cut into strips.
Doodle around the strips with a black journaling pen as desired.
Attach underneath your layout to suit. - Step 9
- Cover a chipboard arrow in a coordinating patterned paper.
Adhere to your layout pointing to the journaling.
If you don’t have a chipboard arrow just cut one from patterned paper. - Step 10
- Finish by embellishing with buttons or bling.
