Chained heart bracelet

Materials

• Ribtex silver chain bracelet
• Ribtex small turquoise shell cubes
• Ribtex rich jade freshwater pearls
• Ribtex 12mm x 12mm square turquoise striped foil lined beads
• Ribtex 10mm round turquoise striped foil lined beads
• Ribtex 15mm x 16mm silver plastic hearts
• Ribtex 4mm bright silver plastic spacer beads
• Ribtex 4mm silver jump rings
• Ribtex silver head pins
• round nose pliers
• cutting pliers
• flat nose pliers
• bead board

Step 1

Open the bracelet and lay it out straight on the bead board. Open the bead packs and place beads in storage sections of the bead board.

Step 2

Create the following bead units

1. Thread a 4mm bright silver plastic spacer bead onto a head pin followed by a 12mm square turquoise striped foil lined bead then another bright silver plastic spacer bead. Cut off the excess head pin, leaving approximately 7mm of pin extended from the small silver bead and using round nose pliers, turn the end of the head pin into a loop. Before closing the loop thread on a jump ring then close the loop securely.

Make 5 more square foil lined bead units then repeat the process to make 6 round foil lined bead units (12 in total).

2. Using the above method, threading on an assortment of bright silver plastic spacer beads, freshwater pearls and shell cubes onto head pins make 12 to 15 units.

These units will be best if they are randomly created. Some suggestions for these units are as follows:
• two small silver plastic beads followed by a freshwater pearl, then two more silver plastic beads
• one small silver plastic bead followed by a small shell cube then another small silver plastic bead
• one shell cube and one freshwater pearl

3. Attach a jump ring to six of the silver plastic hearts.

Step 3

Position the hearts and the bead units along the chain, spacing them evenly along the length of the chain. Working on one unit at a time, open the jump ring and attach each unit to a chain link then close the jump ring securely.
