Materials

Approx size: 24cm x 145cm

• 5 x 100g balls ‘Moda Vera’ Cardellino (natural)
• 9.00mm Crochet hook
• 6.00mm Crochet hook
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

Step 1

Scarf
Using 9.00mm hook make 153ch.

Row 1: 1htr in 3rd ch from hook, 1htr in each ch to end, turn (151 htr).
Row 2-3: 1ch, 1dc in 1st st, *4ch, sk 4 sts, 1dc in next st, repeat from * 30 times, turn.
Row 4: 1ch, 1dc in 1st st, *7ch, sk 4 sts, 1dc in next st, repeat from * 30 times, turn.
Row 5: 1ch, 1dc in 1st st, *3ch, 1dc in next lp, 3ch, 1dc in next dc, repeat from * to end, turn.
Row 6: 1ch, 1dc in 1st st, 2ch * 1dc in next dc, 4ch, sk 1dc, repeat from * to end, 2ch, 1tr in last dc, turn.
Row 7: 1ch, 1dc in 1st st, 2ch *1dc in next dc, 4ch, sk 4 sts, repeat from * to end, 1dc in next dc, 2ch, 1dc in last dc, turn.
Row 8: 7ch, sk 2 sts, 1dc in next dc, *7ch, sk 4 sts, 1dc in next st, repeat from * to end, 3ch, 1tr in last dc, turn.
Row 9: 1ch, 1dc in 1st st, *3ch, 1dc in next dc, 3ch, 1dc in next lp, repeat from * to end, turn.
Row 10: 1ch, 1dc in 1st st, *4ch, sk next dc, 1dc in next dc, repeat from * to end, turn.
Rows 3-10 form pattern.
Repeat pattern once (rows 3-7 once) then row 7 one more time.
Next Row: 1ch, 1dc in 1st st, 1htr in each st to end, fasten off (151 htr).

Step 2

FLOWER - Make 4 large & 3 small flowers.

Both flowers are made the same, for the smaller flower work to round 8 and fasten off, for the larger flower work 2 more rounds to give you one extra row of petals.

Rnd 1: Using 6.50mm hook work 3ch, 11tr into a magic circle, sl st into 3rd ch of starting ch.
Rnd 2: 2ch, 1htr in next st, (dec 2 htr) 5 times, sl st into top of 1st htr.
Rnd 3: 1dc in same st, (3ch, 1dc in next st) 5 times, 3ch, sl st into 1st dc of round.
Rnd 4: [(1dc, 1htr, 3tr, 1htr, 1dc) in next lp] 6 times, sl st around bp of st in row below.
Rnd 5: 1dc in same st, (4ch, 1dc around bp of next dc in row below) 6 times, ending with a sl st into 1st dc of round.
Rnd 6: [(1dc, 1htr, 5tr, 1htr, 1dc) in next lp] 6 times, sl st around bp of st in row below.
Rnd 7: 1dc in same st, (5 ch, 1dc around bp of next dc in row below) 6 times, ending with a sl st into 1st dc of round.
Rnd 8: [(1dc, 2htr, 7tr, 2htr, 1dc) into next lp] 6 times, sl st into 1st dc of round.

For small flower fasten off.

For larger flower sl st around bp of dc in row below.

Rnd 9: 1dc in same st, (6ch, 1dc around bp of next dc in row below) 6 times, ending with a sl st into 1st dc of round.
Rnd 10: [(1dc, 2htr, 3tr, 3dtr, 3tr, 2htr, 1dc) into next lp] 6 times, sl st into 1st dc of round, fasten off.

Step 3

LEAVES - Make 6

Using 6.50mm hook make 18ch.

Foundation Row: 1dc in 3rd ch from hook, 1dc in each of next 14 ch, 3dc in last st, turn work around and continue down the other side of foundation row working 15dc along ch, turn.
Row 1: 1ch, sk 1 dc, 1dc in each of next 15 dc, 3dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 13 dc, turn.
Row 2: 1ch, sk 1dc, 1dc in each of next 12 dc, 2dc in next dc, 1dc in next dc, 2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 13 dc, turn.
Row 3: 1ch, sk 1 dc, 1dc in each of next 12 dc, 2dc in each of next 2 dc, 1dc in each of next 11 dc, turn.
Row 4: 1ch, sk 1 dc, 1dc in each of next 11 dc, 2dc in each of next 2 dc, 1dc in each of next 11 dc, turn.
Row 5: 1ch, sk 1 dc, 1dc in each of next 22 dc, turn.
Row 6: 1ch, sk 1 dc, 1dc in each of next 18 dc, fasten off.

Step 4

MAKE UP
Attach leaves and flowers to scarf as desired.
Sew in all ends.
