Place cushion insert into cover and hand stitch opening closed. - Step 2
- Pink rectangle cushion
On the right side of one fabric piece, write word (love) across the centre using fabric pencil. Sew buttons over this pencil line. With right sides together, sew fabric pieces together with a 1.5cm seam allowance, leaving a 30cm opening along the bottom (longer side). Clip corners, turn right side out, press seams. Cut along one side the 51cm cushion insert, so it measures 30cm x 51cm. Re-sew the side of cushion insert by overlocking or zigzagging together. Place cushion insert into cover and hand stitch opening closed. - Handy Hint
- Buttons can be glued onto fabric instead of sewn.
