Backpack pins

A perfect project for Teens and Tweens!

Final Result

Materials

• large safety pins or kilt pins
• large alphabet beads
• assorted plastic beads
• clear beading cord
• scissors

Step 1

Cut 3 x 20cm lengths of the clear beading cord and loop them on to the non-opening side of the pin. Tie a knot in each.

Step 2

Thread an assortment of beads and alphabet beads onto each of the strands. Spell out appropriate words as you go. Tie a knot to keep the beads securely on the threads.

Step 3

Pin onto your backpack or school bag so it is easily recognizable.
