Collect your favourite shaped autumnal leaves this season & use them as the basis for unique creative projects.

Final Result

Materials

• 25cm x 50cm canvas
• Jo Sonja paints - fawn, olive green, sap green & lime green
• ruscus spray - olive
• wire cutters
• paint brush

Step 1

Paint the front and sides of canvas fawn and allow to dry. Cut 3 stems from leaf spray using wire cutters. Using a paint brush, paint the stem and leaves of one of the cut stems with olive green paint. Carefully place stem painted side down onto the canvas and press down on the leaves and stem to transfer paint. Carefully peel off the leaves and the stem. Repaint and repeat, printing another image onto the canvas. Continue applying paint and printing across the canvas. Allow to dry. Paint the second cut stem sap green and print across the canvas as before. Allow to dry. Paint the last cut stem lime green and repeat across canvas. Allow to dry.
