Final Result

Materials

• spiral bound journal or memory book
• A4 handmade paper - green
• A4 paper - orange, red, brown
• alphabet motifs
• ribbon
• autumn stencil kit
• ballpoint pen
• double-sided tape
• glue stick
• scissors

Step 1

Remove the cover from the book. Position and glue the green paper onto the cover and leave for the glue to dry thoroughly.

Step 2

Use the ballpoint pen to push through the paper covering the holes in the cover. Use double-sided tape to attach a row of ribbon along the front of the cover. Trace autumn leaves onto the coloured paper, cut out and glue onto the cover. Leave until the glue is thoroughly dry.

Step 3

Position the alphabet motifs to spell out ‘autumn’. Replace the cover onto the ring binder. Glue some leaves onto the pages.
