- Materials
- • canvas (40cm x 50cm)
• 60cm fabric for background
• 10-15cm fabrics in variety of colours, textures & patterns
• felt squares in variety of colours
• ribbons & trims
• buttons
• iron-on motifs
• scrapbook paper flowers
• fabric glue
• wooden coasters - daisy & circle (templates)
• small circle templates
• scissors
• staple gun - Step 1
- Cut background fabric 10cm larger (50cm x 60cm). With cut fabric face down on flat surface, place canvas face down in centre. Pull fabric taut and staple (or glue) to the frame folding in corners neatly.
- Step 2
- Cut 6 daisy shapes and 6 circles from a variety of fabrics and felt and arrange on the covered canvas. Cut different sized circles from fabrics and felt and arrange on top of the 12 original shapes. Cut ribbons and trims to size and place into the design. Add motifs.
- Step 3
- When happy with your design remove one arrangement at a time and glue all pieces in place. Add buttons and other embellishments to the work and then glue in place.
