Final Result

Materials

• white or coloured card
• pencil & ruler
• yarn in colour of choice
• scissors
• sticky tape

Step 1

Cut 15cm x 15cm square of card. Rule a line along each side 0.5cm from the edge. Mark at 5mm intervals along each side.

To create slots cut down from edge to marked points along all sides.Remove each corner.

Tape yarn to back of card and working on top and bottom edges bring yarn to the front through the top left slot.

Take yarn down to bottom right slot, around the back and through the next slot to the left, up to the slot to the right of the start.

Continue taking yarn around the back and across the front until the corner.

Take yarn across the corner at the back and repeat the process for the sides.

To finish tape yarn at the back.
