Granny Square Scarf

The politically correct police are yet to come up with a new word to describe one of the world’s favourite crochet terms.
Final Result
Materials
• 50g balls 'Moda Vera' Cupcake - 2 x main colour, 1 ea of 4 colours
• 5.50mm crochet hook
• scissors, yarn needle
Step 1
Using MC make 2 large open squares and 1 large closed square.

From ea of the 4 colours make 1 large open square and 1 large closed square.

Arrange the 11 squares in a long strip beg with a MC open square,then alternate the colours and styles ending with a MC open square.

Sew squares together. Using main colour, work 2 rows of dc around all the edges of the scarf, working 3dc into each corner.

Fasten off and sew in ends.

Fringing can be added if desired.
