'Family' tree photo frames

- Materials
- • wooden monologue letters - F, A, M, I, L, Y
• mini photo frames
• co-ordinating scrapbook papers
• assorted co-ordinating ribbons in varying widths
• family photos to fit frames
• paint - Jo Sonja green oxide
• paint brush
• craft knife
• scissors
• pva, craft glue or strong double-sided tape - Step 1
- Paint the side edges of all the wooden letters using green oxide. Let dry. Paint front of letter with PVA glue or use double-sided tape and then place the letter face down on the wrong side of the scrapbook paper. If gluing, allow to dry first before trimming paper away from edges of letters with craft knife.
- Step 2
- Place a photo in each frame then tie a ribbon to top of each frame. Attach a length of ribbon to the back of each letter at the base using either craft glue or strong double-sided tape. Attach frame to this ribbon using either craft glue or strong double-sided tape on the back of the frame.
- Step 3
- Trim end of ribbon on an angle or with an inverted V shape. Repeat for all letters and frames. Attach more than one frame to some letters - underneath each other (L) or from another point (A,M). Attach to wall using hooks appropriate for wall intended.
