Embroidered flower - sachet

- Materials
- • 22cm x12cm printed fabric
• 8cm x 8cm plain co-ordinating fabric
• 18cm x 6mm ribbon
• dried lavender or potpourri without scenting oil (oil stains fabric)
• sewing thread
• scissors
• pins
• sewing machine
• iron
• fabric glue - Step 1
- Press all edges of 8cm x 8cm plain fabric under 1cm. Pin to front of 22cm x 12cm piece of fabric, centred and 2.5cm in from one 12cm edge. Top stitch in place 3mm from edge using a contrasting colour thread. Make a ribbon loop and pin to one top corner with the loop facing inwards over the square. Fold fabric in half, right sides together. Pin and sew edges together leaving a 5cm opening to turn through. Turn right side out and press flat. Fill sachet with lavender or potpourri and hand sew opening closed. Using fabric glue attach embroidered felt flower to top stitched fabric square.
