Final Result
Materials
• wooden plaque
• door knob, back plate & screw
• robe hook & screws
• paint - white or colour of choice
• paint brush
• craft drill
• pencil
• screwdriver to fit screws
• attachments suitable for wall
Step 1
Paint the front and sides of the plaque white. Allow to dry. Apply a second coat and let dry. Depending upon the depth of coverage required a third coat may be needed.
Step 2
When the paint is dry using a pencil, mark a point in the centre of the top half of the plaque where the knob will sit. Drill a hole through the plaque using the craft drill. Place the robe hook in the centre of the bottom half of the plaque and using a pencil mark where the screws will go. Remove the hook and drill the holes but not all the way through.
Step 3
Place the back plate and the knob on the front of the plaque, push the screw through the hole from the back and screw into the back of the knob. Tighten using the screwdriver. Position the hook on the plaque lining up the holes. With screws in place tighten using the screwdriver. Attach to wall using method appropriate for your wall.
