Final Result

Materials

• 1 metre black grosgrain ribbon 2.5cm wide
• 1 metre black and white gingham ribbon 1cm wide
• 1 metre black and white polka dot ribbon 1cm wide
• black plastic swivel clip
• super strength heat & bond hem
• iron
• scissors
• baking paper

Step 1

Following the manufacturers instructions for the heat and bond fuse the ribbons together with the two narrower ribbons side by side on the wrong side of the wider ribbon. Taking care with the hot iron and using the baking paper to protect the iron and ironing board.

Step 2

To attach the clip, slip one end of the fused ribbons through the end of the clip and cut a small piece of the heat and bond and secure the ribbon in the same way as before.

Step 3

Create the handle in the same way also.
