- Materials
- • 50cm patterned fabric (circles)
• 25cm plain fabric
• matching thread
• scissors
• sewing machine
• 46cm cushion insert (no. 18)
• 4ply crochet cotton in colours to match patterned fabric
• hand needle
• pencil & circle template - Step 1
- From plain fabric cut a 47cm x 23.5cm rectangle and a 47cm x 27.5cm rectangle from patterned fabric. Sew together along 47cm side and press seam to the patterned fabric. Place on a flat surface and trace circles onto plain fabric at least 1.5cm from edge of fabric. Work stem stitch over the circles using crochet cotton.

- Step 2
- From patterned fabric cut a 47cm x 32cm rectangle and a 47cm x 28cm rectangle. Neaten one 47cm edge of each rectangle by turning the edge under 1.5cm. Press and sew.
- Step 3
- With cushion front on a flat surface right side up, place one half of the back face down, hemmed edge in the centre. Repeat overlapping remaining back piece in the centre. Sew around all four edges. Turn right side out and insert cushion.
- Note
- 1.5cm seam allowance used throughout.
