Materials

• Kaisercraft beyond the page crown album
• Folk Art paint - berry wine
• Jo Sonja paint - moss green, titanium white
• Kaisercraft be mine range scrapbook paper - besotted, dotty, charmed, smitten
• Kaisercraft pink droplets
• Kaisercraft pink rhinestones
• Kaisercraft lush pearls
• paper flowers
• rub on words
• PVA glue
• paint brush & palette
• fine sandpaper
• single hole punch
• pencil
• craft knife, ruler & cutting mat
• assorted co-ordinating ribbons
• scissors

Step 1

Paint
Lightly sand the edges of each page. Using berry wine paint both sides and edges of middle page. Mix a little white paint with berry wine and paint front and last pages. Paint pages 2 and 4 moss green. Allow to dry.

Step 2

Front cover
Cut stripe side of smitten paper to fit into crown shape. Mix water with PVA and brush onto back of paper. Attach to front cover, smoothing out any bubbles. Allow to dry.

Cut besotted paper half the height of the straight side. Place over page, line up bottom edges and mark hole. Punch out marked hole. Glue to front cover lining up hole, smoothing out any bubbles. Allow to dry. Trim any overhanging paper.

Cut out heart shapes from reverse side of smitten paper and glue to cover. Allow to dry. Embellish with rhinestones, pearls, flowers and rub ons.

Step 3

Pages
Cut papers to fit into crown shape, to cover both sides of all pages. Glue to pages, smoothing out any bubbles. Allow to dry.

Embellish tips of crown with rhinestones, pearls, droplets, paper cut outs and flowers.

To join pages thread co-ordinating ribbons through holes on side and leaving long enough to allow pages to open freely tie in a knot and trim ends.
