Finish off and sew in ends. Cut 4 long strands of wool in each colour, fold each strand in half and attach one in the bottom st of each earflap and plait.
Abbreviation
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
sl st = slip stitch
rep = repeat
MC = main colour
C1 = contrast colour 1

Handy Hint
The main body of the hat is worked in a spiral and not in rounds, so use a stitch marker to mark rounds.
