- Materials
- • scrapbook papers in a similar colour scheme
• Kaiser clear sealer
• Jo Sonja paints - raw sienna, burnt umber
• 12” x 12” bazzill cardstock
• photocopy of found image
• scrap heavy card
• scrap gold paper
• scrap trim
• rub on words
• scissors
• paper trimmer - Step 1
- Cut bazzill cardstock in half (15cm x 30cm) and fold in half to form the base of the card. Tear scrap papers into small sized pieces approximately 2cm x 2cm, they don't all have to be the same size. Begin to stick the pieces of paper to the card front using the sealer as glue. Apply the sealer all over the top of the papers to ensure all the pieces are stuck down well. Allow to dry.

- Step 2
- Cut out the photocopy of the found image and glue in place. Tear a strip of paper and attach at the bottom of the card. Mix some raw sienna with the sealer to create a glaze, the colour must be well diluted with the sealer. Paint the mixture all over the surface to tie all the papers together. Allow to dry.

- Step 3
- Attach some gold paper to the scrap piece of heavy card and draw a star pattern on the back then cut it out. Attach the star to the card front and rub on a word then attach the trim at the bottom. Mix a small amount of burnt umber with the sealer and brush on the card front around the image and in the corners to create an aged look.

- Handy Hint
- To add a personal touch to your card add a photocopy of the recipient or someone you know.
