By Spotlight

Make this pretty butterfly themed carry-all.
Final Result
Materials
• paint - baby pink, napthol red light
• Kaisercraft scrapbook paper - monarch
• assorted pink & red ribbons
• scissors
Step 1
Mix water with PVA and brush onto back of paper. Glue paper to sides smoothing out any bubbles. Allow to dry.

Use craft knife to cut out paper that will cover handle hole. To construct crate, slot all side pieces into the base piece with handle sides opposite each other and secure using PVA glue. Stretch large rubber band around box to hold together while glue is drying.
Step 2
Paint base, all top edges and inside handle edges red. Allow to dry.
Paint all remaining sides pink. Allow to dry.

Cut two pieces from top of butterfly side of monarch paper 15cm wide x 11.5cm high and glue to front of sides without handle.

Cut two pieces from bottom of butterfly monarch paper 15cm wide x 11.5cm high.

Cut two pieces from stripe side 2cm wide x 11.5cm high.

Glue butterfly pieces to sides with handle, close to the right hand edge.

Glue stripe paper down left hand side overlapping butterfly paper.

Construct crate. Tie co-ordinating ribbons around handles and trim ends on an angle to reduce fraying.
