A readymade book-in-a-box is the perfect mini canvas for experimentation.

Materials

• chipboard book in a box
• Fiskars Kimberley Poloson papers
• Fiskars Kimberley Poloson stickers
• Fiskars Kimberley Poloson rub ons
• paper trimmer
• scissors
• glue

Step 1

Cut strips of the different Kimberly Poloson papers to cover the front of the box. Cover the back and sides with one of the double-sided papers. Save any scraps to use on the book cover or the inside pages. Attach the papers using glue.

Step 2

Cover the book in the same way using strips of paper for the front. To hide the joins between the strips of paper attach one of the border stickers over the join. Use the saved scraps to decorate the pages inside.

Step 3

Embellish the front of the box and the cover of the book with the sticker elements and rub ons.

Handy Hint

Be mindful not to include too many thick elements on the book cover as it is already a snug fit in the box.
