Beaded hair combs

Final Result

Materials

• 2 x plain clear hair combs
• assorted brads in colours of your choice
• 26 gauge wire
• wire cutting pliers

Step 1

Thread approximately 30-40 assorted beads onto wire while the wire is still on the roll. Slide the beads down the wire leaving 10cm of exposed wire.

Step 2

Begin wrapping the wire around the comb to secure it. Wrap the beaded wire around the top of the comb through the teeth. Allow one bead per wrap to secure it properly to the comb.

Step 3

Keep wrapping up and down the top of the comb until all the beads are used. Cut the wire from the roll leaving 10cm extra the same as the beginning and wrap around the comb to secure the end in the same way. Repeat for the other comb.
