Beaded cake stand

Materials

• cream wire cake stand
• large & small clear beads
• 32 gauge silver wire
• wire cutters

Step 1

Thread a small length of wire approximately 15cm through the hole in the bead and move the bead to the middle of the wire. Bring the two ends of wire together and twist the bead a few times to hold it in place on the wire. Loop the two ends of the wire around the outside ring of the cake stand, twist the wire around itself in between the bead and the cake stand a few times to secure it, cut off the excess wire with the cutters. Continue adding beads alternating the sizes as you go.
