• 1 x 50g ball ‘Bella Baby’ Layette
• 1 pair 4.5mm knitting needles
• scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

Step 1

With needles 4.5mm cast on 56 (62, 68, 68) sts and work 4 (4, 5, 5)cm in garter st.
For the turn-up purl 3 rows.
Cont in stocking st for 8 (10, 12, 14)cm.
Beg dec for top: (on RS) K1, *K2tog, K7 (8, 9, 9)* rep from * to * 5 times, K1. Work 3 rows.
Next row: K1, *K2tog, K6 (7, 8, 8)* rep from * to * 5 times, K1.
Work 1 row.
Next row: K1, *K2tog, K5 (6, 7, 7)* rep from * to * 5 times, K1.
Work 1 row.
Next row: K1, *K2tog, K4 (5, 6, 6)* rep from * to * 5 times, K1.
Work 1 row.
Next row: K1, *K2tog, K3 (4, 5, 5)* rep from * to * 5 times, K1.
Work 1 row.
Cont dec every alt row for (3, 6 and 12) months, (once, twice, twice).
FOR ALL SIZES: K1, (K2tog) 12 times, K1.
Work 1 row.
Next row: K1, (K2tog) 6 times, K1.
Work 1 row.
Next row: (K2tog) 4 times.
Work 1 row. Cast off.

Step 2

Make up
With right sides facing join seam and sew in ends.
