Use your favourite papers to create this pretty keepsake protector.

Materials

• 4 empty match boxes
• matt board
• 4 small decorative buttons
• Grants paper pack - fleur
• remarks alphabet stickers
• large brad
• 4 small shank buttons
• 4 large beads
• hot glue gun & glue sticks
• double-sided tape or glue stick
• scissors

Step 1

Cut 2 pieces of matt board 10cm x 10cm and cover each with the decorative paper. Arrange the match boxes in a square on top of one piece of covered matt board and glue in place.

Step 2

Cover the exposed strike sides of the match boxes with either the same paper or a contrasting paper. Cover the ends of the drawers (optional). Attach the small buttons to the ends of the drawers as handles. Line the drawers using the same papers.

Step 3

Attach the top piece of covered matt board. Create a decorative element by looping strips of paper and securing together with a brad. Attach to the top of the box. Hot glue the beads to the bottom of the box.
