- I am a sewing newbee too
- I get advice from my nanas and they are a big help. my advice would be to start off making lavdender bags or pillows or pin cushions they are easy. Um try hard and seem the out sides and you should have it done to a high standerd or USE your imaganation it is good to come up with your own ideas go onto google and search up sewing and go through the websites it will be easy. Good luck TWeaves

I have just been given a sewing machine by my mother inlaw, Have never really done any sewing before. Have so many ideas running through my head, but just don't know were to start. I spoke to my mother inlaw and she suggested the same idea as TWeaves. She told me to start off small by making pin cushions and pillows. I just want to do something extravigant like curtains or dresses, but I think she may have a point I really do think that I need to get a little practice first:) I'm going to do a pin cushion I'll let you know how I went and i'll post a photo.
The thought of having a hobbie like sewing feels great:)
