Marshmallows with Strawberried, chocolate coated
Topic started by Vharris on Feb. 25, 2010
One Valentines I decided to put some Marshmallows on skewers with strawberries and fruit coated with milk, dark and white chocolate. They were so divine and I've always had an interest in making chocolate, even when I was a child.

I recently went to a chocolate shop in Parramatta with my social group and it was so yummy. After that visit I have decided that I would like to do a course in making chocolate.
Valentines Day

I have just made a great chocolate heart box with some chocolate roses as a trial run for Valentines day or Mothers Day. I've loaded the photo up as well. It was easy and fun to make. The moulds, chocolate and foil were all from Spotlight

    • I used to make all my own Easter Eggs - all sizes and the kids loved my Chocolate Frogs. Thinking of making some chocolate frogs for Christmas 2009.

    • HI Deanne
The Easter chocolate making range should be in Store around the end of January so you will be able to make an early start. There is a chocolate mould to make exactly what you are after and it will come with a recipe card and photos to show you how to do it. Let us know how you go.

    • Hi There,

I''m a new VIP member and this happens to be the first group I've looked at. With Xmas not all that far away I was thinking of creating my own chocolates for everyone. Does anyone have some creative ideas that extend more then just the typical Truffle snowman, xmas tree etc?

      Cheers

      Ro.

    • Hi Ro You can find some great moulds at Spotlight to make some Xmas chocolates. What about adding some fondant creme filling in the middle, You could do a range of different flavours and tailor them to the flavours that people favour. It would be great, because they would look standard from the inside, but your friends/family would have the added fun of trying to work out what creamy centre they are going to get when they bite into it. I'm also going to make Chocolate baubles this year. The mould is at spotlight. I am going to fill them with smarties and also write peoples names on them and use them like place setting. Just something a bit different than the standard card setting. Hope this helps. Amanda
